I’m Rebecca Lupton, a photographer and mum based in Manchester.
For 2 and a half years I’ve been collecting the photographs, stories and experiences of mothers (and fathers).
In http://wwwthe-mothers.co.uk I provide an online platform for mothers, where they can talk freely and honestly without being judged.
My deed is to run an exhibition of photographs that empower women, and allow women to discuss the real truth of being parents.
’The Mothers’ exhibition will be held at Manchester College Fielden Campus as part of the Didsbury Arts festival between to 24th June and 5th of July.
’The Mothers’ is sponsored by The Arts Council of England.
