I am an artist and lecturer at the Manchester School of Art
My deed is to get 100 of my students to sew their signatures at an event on Thursday 2nd May in MMU. I will then join the cloth signature together to create an embroidered petition/banner, in remembrance of Emily and to raise awareness of her and the other suffragettes to a younger generation.
