I did a piece of performance art in Birmingham as a protest against ’page 3’ of The Sun. I stood there with the paper open on page 3, black crosses taped over my eyes. I did it because images are a form of power, and page 3 is an example of the powerful exerting generic sexual power over women. I did it a number of times, and soon other folks started turning up and joining in too.
