Recently, a man attempted to assault me. I nearly didn’t report it to the police because I thought I wouldn’t be taken seriously. I think the shock of the situation made everything seem a bit surreal, but the police were brilliant.
I’m not saying this to raise awareness about horrible men, I just wanted to point out that the police are not a misogynist organisation and if you report something like this, they will do everything they can to help. I suppose this is a thank you to the police. I’m not scared by what happened, I’m just really, really angry. I want to make sure that other people feel valued enough to report it too.
