My deed is combining creativity with peaceful direct action and civil disobedience in the struggle for women’s liberation. The actions I have been involved with have ranged from a Pussy Riot poetry flash mob to direct action against Topman when they were selling T-Shirts glorifying violence against women. Taking part in actions with other passionate, committed women is empowering and exhilarating and every feminist deed, however small, is a step towards the world of justice and equality we dream of. I am constantly inspired by the revolutionary deeds of women from around the world.
