Hello, we are Anna and Becca of Stirred Poetry, monthly pro-feminist performance night at The Three Minute Theatre in Manchester.
We are planning to do a joint set for: Stirred Poetry with Rosie Garland at Didsbury Arts Festival 27th June.
Our deed is to continue objecting to being objectified, the photo we took especially for 100 deeds:
Anna is wearing the leather jacket which she was wearing when she was asked if she knew where the prostitutes were.
Hat that she was wearing when asked if it was Halloween.
Becca is wearing the skirt that brought the comment: I did not think you were the kind of girl who would wear that.
We will not be told what we should look like, or feel bad because we fall outside of the ’normal’ that is inferred by people’s assumptions.
